Martin Harris Pageant FAQs

Every other year, the Clarkston Pageant recounts the life and testimony of Martin Harris, one of the Three Witnesses of the origin and authenticity of the Book of Mormon. The pageant is scheduled to be held again this year.

Admission is free, but reservations are required. Group reservations are available.

What date and time is the pageant scheduled?
Dates: August 4-5, 8-12 and 15-19, 2017
Time: 8:30 p.m.

What time should I get there?
Early arrival is recommended. People should be in their seats at least 15 minutes before the program start. Tickets are for open seating.

How long is the pageant?
1 hour and 15 minutes.

Where is the pageant held?
At the Martin Harris Memorial Amphitheater, 1100 North 8400 West near the Clarkston Cemetery in Clarkston, Utah.

What ages can go?
All ages are welcome.

What is the venue like?
The pageant is performed in an outdoor theater with metal bench seating with seat backs.

Are there restrooms on location?
Yes, restrooms are on location and are ADA compliant.

Is there parking on location?
Yes. Bus parking is also available. Those attending the production should consider traffic congestion, plan to arrive early, and park in designated areas only.

What do you recommend for lodging?

Are cameras, audio, video, or other recording devices allowed?
No, recording devices of any kind are not allowed in the amphitheater. Photographs are not permitted during the performance.

What should I wear?
Dress for a summer evening and be aware you will be outside. A light jacket or layers may be appropriate. 

Is there food available near the Pageant performance?
The town of Clarkston offers a meal at the LDS Church in Clarkston prior to the pageant.  Advance reservations are recommended.  Call 435-563-9090 for additional information.   Food is not allowed on the pageant grounds.
